So what should you expect diving into a renovation? Today, we are giving you a peek into what a large-scale renovation truly entails.
Let's address the elephant in the room - renovations are messy! The dust, it gets everywhere and I'm not talking just a finger swipe. It has a magical ability to find its way into every nook and cranny. Brace yourself for an assortment of construction sounds; it can get pretty loud. If you work from home, finding an alternate location might be a wise move. Your home will be a hub of different tradespeople, each contributing their expertise to the project. It's not always the most ideal or comfortable living situation during renovations and many of our clients opt for a temporary relocation. Here’s the thing, it’s important to remember why you started this process. It can be an emotional process, but when it’s all said and done, it will be SO worth it. Keep the end game in mind.
We've done this before many times over. Are hurdles a normal part of the process? Relief- The project is winding down, you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. You love what you are seeing!
I encourage you to keep your WHY and your rendering front and center during this process. Believe that this won’t last forever(even though it feels that way) and you will get your beautifully designed home.
